Our pediatric dentist, Dr. Gabriela Atmetlla, will carry out an adequate examination in your child's mouth (including the mouth and gums) and will review the growth and development of the head. He will explain to parents which is the most effective oral hygiene for their children.
The child will receive a deep cleaning, topical fluoride treatment, and if necessary, X-rays will be taken. If the child has dental cavities, they will be treated based on grade and position. The first visit will be easy and pleasant, so that it helps to overcome many of the fears that have been instilled in children and to get acquainted with dentistry in a pleasant way.
The child's first visit to the dentist should be scheduled when the first tooth appears in the mouth and no later than the first year.
